The operation involved what is known as "drive by" attacks, in which visitors to legitimate Web sites are redirected to a page that secretly downloads the malicious software.

Se podría traducir como ataques de paso ? :roll:

Creo que se traduce como "un ataque 'drive-by'".

Yeah, it's not in the same context, but it should still mean the same thing. It's a quick attack in passing, as you said previously, which should make sense to those who know what a "drive-by" is.
