single-engine

The context is:

Pentagon officials want to put more emphasis on the next-generation F-35 Lightning, a single-engine jet

single-engine is translated as "monomotor" by Word Magic's dictionary at http://www.wordmagicsoft.com/dictionary ... engine.php

Is this translation correct:

avión a reacción monomotor

?

Or does is sound better:

avión a reacción de un solo motor

?

Thanks!

He visto "avión a reacción monomotor" o solamente "avión monomotor".
